Less than 3% of brain tumour patients are currently enrolled in clinical trials, which is significantly lower than for other cancer types and an issue The Brain Tumour Charity is determined to address. We have helped to fund 20 trials so far and have established a specific new funding stream for clinical trials. These trials are testing new therapies and developing new treatment combinations for adults and children living with brain tumours to improve their outcomes.
