Unlocking innovation for brain tumours: the problem to solve

Where innovation is delayed, opportunities to improve outcomes are lost.

Brain tumours remain one of the most devastating and least survivable disease areas in the UK.

Despite a community that’s passionate about accelerating change and the UK’s strong scientific base, systemic barriers have held back innovation for brain tumours. Ultimately, resulting in outcomes that have barely improved in decades.

Too often this leaves families affected by brain tumours needing to go to extreme lengths to seek innovative new treatments abroad – potentially risking their health and financial security.

That’s why we’re committed to unlocking innovation for brain tumours in the UK through meaningful policy change. All to help improve access to kinder, better treatments and new technologies for people diagnosed with brain tumours.
