Everest in the Lakes is a short sharp hiking challenge. How far can you push yourself out of your comfort zone in one weekend for everyone affected by a brain tumour?
The goal is simple: you and a friend will ascend the height of Mount Everest - the world’s highest peak, while raising vitals funds and ensuring that every step you take will help us to defeat brain tumours sooner. The goal is simple. The challenge is anything but!
It’s a tough event taking place in the beautiful Lake District. You'll each be climbing 4,424 metres to achieve the overall height of 8,848 metres. You'll be out hiking on average 10-14 hours a day, however long it takes to stay on track and reach your target.
This is a new event for 2020 and has been created by the same team who deliver the amazing Everest in the Alps challenge in March each year. Up for the challenge?
