Northampton Carnival Family Day – CANCELLED

Our Carnival Family Day will be all the fun of the circus, with outdoor carnival games and activities. You’ll get to learn new circus skills, take part in fun-fair games like Hook A Duck, get your face-painted and even watch a circus show in the big top!
Our Family Days are held across the UK to give your family a relaxed and supportive experience, with others who understand. So if you or your child (0-18) is living with a brain tumour, come and join us for a day away at the carnival.
What’s more, we understand that time together is priceless. So our Family Days are price-less. There’s no charge for attending, and lunch, snacks and drinks are all provided.
So – for one day only – you can bring your family together for some magical, carnival fun at our outdoor activity day at West Hill Manor Barn, a private estate in Northampton, kindly provided by one of our supporters.
Family Days and COVID-19
Due to the current situation with the coronavirus COVID-19 and uncertainty of future government advice around travel and public meetings we are reviewing our upcoming Family Days.
Our decision to cancel any upcoming events hasn’t been taken lightly, we know how much you enjoy these opportunities to get together (as do we!) but we felt it was the right decision to take a precautionary approach and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We are so sorry that we won’t get to see you all as planned but we are exploring possible alternative options to get together digitally, for example an online video chat. We will keep this page updated with any further details on these plans.
Thank you for your understanding, if you have any questions or if there’s anything else we can help with please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Family Days strengthen our family’s bond. When we share activities together it forms strong, emotional ties in our family helping us adapt to the health struggles we’ve faced in the past and in our daily life.

- Money. The day is free to attend and lunch will be provided free of charge.
- Not making friends. We guarantee you will, every family who attends is in a similar boat and understands your situation so you’re sure to make friends. Plus, our friendly team are there to help too.
- Fatigue. You’ll be surrounded by people who understand and if there’s anything you or your family don’t want to do, or if you just want some time to relax, that’s 100% okay!
- Not being good at the carnival activities. This is a relaxed space of supportive peers where it’s the taking part and having fun that counts.
