Winter Wonderwheels 2018 is part of the UK's first and only disability sport series, alongside the Superhero Tri event in August.
The UK's first festive disability sports event will see Everyday Superheroes cycle, walk, run, push, be pushed, or anything in between around Dorney's spectacular lake. See below for your choice of three distances of which you can fly solo, or enter a team with family and friends. There'll be (fake) snow, plenty of festive sparkle and a special appearance from Father Christmas himself at this tinsel-tastic event!
When: Sunday 2 December 2018
Where: Eton Dorney Lake, Windsor
Registration: £10 per person but all sidekicks go free! Just let us know their names during registration
Sponsorship: We ask individual superheroes to raise £100, and teams (up to four people) to raise £250
What's brilliant about Winter Wonderwheels is that there are no cut-off times and you can bring any kind of gismo or gadget you need to help you complete the challenge, from day chairs, walking frames, race runners and adapted bikes. What's more, everyone is welcome to bring a 'Sidekick' to push, guide or simply accompany them around the course.
The challenge is just the beginning - being set in 450 acres of spectacular parkland as well as all kinds of entertainment and refreshments for Superheroes, Sidekicks and spectators big and small. Plus parking is free of charge.
