Have you been diagnosed with a brain tumour? Order your free information pack.

You can do a tea party anywhere you fancy – at home, at your local community centre, round a friends or in the park

Pick your venue, choose a date and invite your guests! You can charge an entry fee or ask for donations for any tea and biscuits your guests have.

Why not theme your tea party? You could ask everyone to turn up as their favourite Alice in Wonderland character and make it a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party or you could ask everyone to come in their glad rags and hold a Ritz-style afternoon tea.

You could even play games like Tea Bag Toss where guests try to get the tea bag in the tea pot, kids might enjoy colouring in their own tea pot or you could see who can remember what item is missing with the tea tray memory game.

We had a tea party at our local church to raise money and were amazed at the response from our friends and people we didn’t even know who gave generously.

Gail and Chris held a fundraising tea party

  • £25 – could provide a family with immediate support following a diagnosis.
  • £50 – could go towards specialist equipment to help a researcher test potential brain tumour treatments in the lab.
  • £100 – could pay for a test to understand the genetic changes associated with the development of a brain tumour to help identify personalised treatments.

We can help get your par-tea started with our tips and resources to help your organise the perfect tea party including our downloadable posters.

Let us know about your fundraising plans and we can make sure you have everything you need for your tea-rrific tea party, such as banners, bunting or donation boxes.
