We have lots of resources and tips to help you hold the perfect charity tea party, fundraising in support of The Brain Tumour Charity.
Join the fun
Every year, hundreds of people across the UK hold tea parties or bake sales at home, work or in their community to fundraise and raise awareness to help defeat brain tumours. Great British Bake Off fever continues to sweep the nation, inspiring bakers to create show-stopping treats. There's never been a better time to show off your skills in the kitchen, who doesn't love a good cup of tea and a cake?
Wherever you're holding your tea party, you can ask people for donations to attend and their food and drink or hold additional activities like a treasure hunt or a quiz to maximise your fundraising.
When you're baking, or during your event, please share your photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Don't forget to tag us in your post, we'd love to see what you're up to and it'll help inspire other people to take part!
Every pound you raise from your tea party will make a real difference, and you'll also be helping to raise awareness of brain tumours in your community.
We have put together a 'Put the kettle on!' guide to organising a tea party, posters, invitations and a fun quiz! The guide includes cup cake recipes, ideas for party themes and a very special 'brew-o-meter' so guests can get their perfect cuppa!
If you would like other materials for your event, such as bunting, balloons and collection boxes, please get in touch with your local Community Fundraiser. Don't also forget to tell us about your event so we can support you all the way!
