Bradley’s story

Bradley had everything to live for but at such a young age he was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforma (GBM) Grade IV and his family were told the tumour was inoperable.

Sadly Bradley died in the early hours of Saturday, 7th May 2011; he was only 9 years old
Bradley’s Dad, Dean, had been told two months earlier that Bradley’s prognosis was very poor and that he only had between six to eight months to live and, at best, 12 to 18 months.

Devastating news. Unfortunately, the hospital did not tell the family that the tumour could bleed at any time and this is what happened and Bradley was found dead in bed.
Dean, Dianne and Bradley’s sister, Eboney, and brother, Bailey, wanted to do something positive in Bradley’s memory and they have set up the Fund within The Brain Tumour Charity to raise funds specifically for research into GBMs.
