Raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity in Christopher's memory
A 'True Gentleman' and an 'Inspiration' are just two of the wonderful descriptions of Chris that ran through the sympathy cards following his passing from a Grade IV Brain Tumour in September 2006.
A loving husband and devoted dad to two girls, Chris had been a Chemistry teacher in Sheffield for over thirty years, inspiring children and other teachers alike with his passion and enthusiasm for the subject.
Just months after his retirement, Chris was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme in March 2004. Over the next year he endured surgery, radiotherapy and three types of chemotherapy none of which managed to remove his sense of humour or positive outlook. Even as his mobility was taken from him and the headaches returned he still never uttered a single complaint. We miss him and love him so much.
