#harryshelpers are raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity
Our older sister and bestest friend was diagnosed with a primary brain tumour at the beginning of May 2017 at just 27 years old. Following Harriet's surgery to remove part of the tumour, she faced six and a half weeks of daily chemo and radiotherapy with such fierce bravery and positivity. In true Harry style she has remained decidedly upbeat over the last few months which has in turn kept all of us more positive too. However, we know that the next year will be a fight, and in order to focus our energy on something positive we decided to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity.
We couldn't believe the lack of funding for research into brain tumours and we hope the money we raise will go in some way to helping develop new treatments and fund support for those affected. We want to do everything we can to ensure others don't have to go through the same thing in the future.
In order to raise money our wonderful family and friends (#harryshelpers) have agreed to run, cycle, bake, drink, sing and generally be awesome. So far…
We are so grateful for the overwhelming support from all our family and friends and we hope to raise as much as possible to help others going through this and hopefully reduce the numbers of people diagnosed in the future.
