Simon’s story

Our son Simon sadly lost his brave 11 month fight against the Grade 4 Glioblastoma Brain Tumour on  Friday 13th September  2013. He had just celebrated his 40th Birthday.

He was a truly inspirational lecturer and was passionate about his chosen subject in the fashion world.

In 2012 he had completed a lecture series on Research and Design methodologies at Shanghai University. He also wrote two world best selling text books which are still widely used today in colleges and universities.

On 14th June 2023 Simon would have celebrated his 50TH Birthday.

His family are determined to ensure that this special milestone Birthday will generate more awareness of Brain Tumours and also ensure that more monies are raised towards the Research element of The Brain Tumour Charity, which was Simon’s wish.

“His heartbroken family all promise to continue fundraising in his name until a cure can be found for this devastating illness”
