We are delighted to announce that Built Environment Communications Group (BECG) have chosen The Brain Tumour Charity as their charity of the year.

We are delighted to announce that Built Environment Communications Group (BECG) have chosen The Brain Tumour Charity as their charity of the year.

BECG is a sector-specialist, multi-disciplinary communications consultancy dedicated to helping brands and organisations across the built environment achieve their business goals.

Across their eight UK-wide offices, they provide public and private sector clients with expert counsel and communications services.

BECG will be working closely with us in the coming year and supporting our work around policy, campaigns and fundraising.

Stephen Pomeroy, Chief Executive at BECG, said: “We are looking forward to working with The Brain Tumour Charity and supporting its excellent work in whatever way we can whether that is with advice and guidance, practical support when required or with its ongoing fundraising efforts.”

Amy McNeill, Head of HR & Operations at BECG, was instrumental in establishing the partnership. Her daughter was diagnosed with a mixed grade Optic Pathway Glioma at three weeks old.

Amy has been a fantastic advocate for us, having been involved with our HeadSmart campaign as well as attending All-Party Parliamentary Groups.

Sarah Lindsell, Chief executive of The Brain Tumour Charity, said: “We are delighted and honoured to be chosen by BECG as one of the company’s charity partners.

“We are determined to end the devastation caused by brain tumours, which – as the team at BECG know from Amy’s experience – can strike with brutal impact at any age.

“Amy’s commitment to helping others following her daughter’s diagnosis, and the support of her colleagues in raising funds and awareness, will make a real difference as we work towards our key goals: to double brain tumour survival and halve the harm caused by the disease.”

The team at BECG are already taking part in their first fundraising event, with a sky dive on the 21 September.
