The Leeds Marathon inspired by rugby player Rob Burrow is one of Yorkshire’s biggest event of its kind.
The 2023 Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon saw over 10,000 participants take the street of Leeds, taking in some of the city’s most scenic countryside and outer suburbs, the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will be a fitting tribute to the city that launched Rob’s career and which he called home.
This is an event that truly is for everyone, so whether you are an experienced runner or have never thought about running an event before, we welcome all abilities to join us for this very special event.
This event is organised by Run For All and registration is completed through Run For Charity
Every day, 34 people in the UK are given a devastating brain tumour diagnosis. For these people and their loved ones, cures simply can’t wait! When you sign up to take on the Leeds Half, every mile you run, every metre you move and every penny you raise, will help give hope to those affected by brain tumours.

could fund a day of world-class research into brain tumours.
Every £1,000 you raise
could fund the RNA sequencing required for one of our research projects developing cures for children with brain tumours for an entire year.

could fund the bioluminesence imaging required for a year on one of our glioblastoma research projects.
