This is a monthly subscription service where you receive a free text message the day before your gift is due. If you are happy to give, you don't need to do anything and your donation will come off that particular month's phone bill or your pay-as-you-go credit, plus you’ll be charged for one standard rate message.
If you would prefer not to give, reply SKIP within 24 hours of receiving the text and we will not proceed with your donation for that month. You'll receive a message confirming that your payment will not be taken. You’ll be charged one standard rate text message.
If your phone is out of range or switched off when we send the first text, you don't need to worry. We will only take your gift 24 hours after we know that your phone has received our message.
We want you to see the difference your gifts are making, so we will sometimes send you links to images and other content that you can view on an internet-enabled phone – or on your computer. We won't charge you for this content but, as with any mobile browsing, viewing it could mean you incur charges from your network provider.
The Brain Tumour Charity will receive 95% percent of each donation. All gifts will go towards our vital work. By using this service, you agree that The Brain Tumour Charity may contact you in the future via text (SMS), to let you know more about our work and other ways you can help, including how you can volunteer, or make a donation. But if you'd rather not hear from us in this way or would like to change how we communicate with you, please contact us on 01252 749043 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, including your mobile number in the email.
We hope that you won't cancel your gift and that you will use the SKIP system if you decide not to give in a particular month. However, if you want to end your gifts permanently, you can reply and text STOP to unsubscribe. You’ll be charged one standard rate text message.
In the event that any of our text messages cannot be delivered to you, your mobile network will try to redeliver the message for the next 14 days. If still unsuccessful we will stop trying for that month and try again next month as normal.
