We’ve put together a report that highlights the current barriers to innovation and our recommendations for how to overcome these.
Unlocking innovation for brain tumours: the problem to solve
Where innovation is delayed, opportunities to improve outcomes are lost.

81% of community survey respondents feel there is a lack of innovation for their or a loved one’s condition.
Brain tumours remain one of the most devastating and least survivable disease areas in the UK.
Despite a community that’s passionate about accelerating change and the UK’s strong scientific base, systemic barriers have held back innovation for brain tumours. Ultimately, resulting in outcomes that have barely improved in decades.
Too often this leaves families affected by brain tumours needing to go to extreme lengths to seek innovative new treatments abroad – potentially risking their health and financial security.
That’s why we’re committed to unlocking innovation for brain tumours in the UK through meaningful policy change. All to help improve access to kinder, better treatments and new technologies for people diagnosed with brain tumours.
