Snowdon by Night 2023

Join us on Saturday 17 June 2023 for a summit climb to the highest peak in Wales – Snowdon. Experience the beautiful sunset and the popular Llanberis path and Snowdon summit.

At 1085m high, Yr Wyddfa (as it is locally known in Welsh) is the highest peak in Wales and England, it is a tough climb to reach the summit, and just as tough to walk down in the dark. At the summit, you will be rewarded with tremendous views over the coast and Northern Snowdonia from it’s lofty heights. Setting off early evening, we’ll arrive as a group at the summit to watch the sun set, before returning back to base for a celebratory midnight feast.

Important information about this event
Full legal responsibility for any child or children in your group lies with the Supervising Adult. The supervising adult must sign the participation statement on behalf of the child/children. Children under the age of 18 years will not be permitted to take part unless accompanied by a participating adult at all times. If there is someone under this age who wants to take part, please contact events@thebraintumourcharity.org to discuss this with us.

Climbing Snowdon requires a good level of walking/mountain fitness and lots of determination. Snowdon is a tough walk and not to be underestimated. Due to this, we reccomend training a few months before the walk but don’t worry – once you’ve signed up, you will be provided with a training plan to help you prepare you for your challenge!

Please note, you will be asked to submit a medical form to RAW Adventures before taking part.
