Jas was my loving generous husband and best friend, whose incredible sense of humour and strength of character helped us navigate the many highs and lows, twists and turns our love story faced following his brain tumour diagnosis.
Jas did everything he could to get on with life and live it as fully as he could, for both of us.
I look back on the many years we shared remembering all the sweet moments that are forever in my heart.
Jas confronted his illness with tremendous courage, dignity and grace. He was the epitome of dedication and integrity a doctor should possess and will be remembered not only as an excellent surgeon but as a kind, caring person who always went the extra mile for his loved ones, friends and patients.
It is my hope that this fund will be part of Jas’s legacy as a positive and empowering way to help others as he did. Jas touched the lives of a huge range of people whose days he helped to brighten with his mischievous sense of humour and sheer enjoyment of life.
