The Mike Sadler Fund

Fundraising in memory of Mike

£12,699.28

funds raised so far

Mike was a fit and healthy 63 year old when, just six weeks after his diagnosis, he died of a brain tumour in November 2020.

We have set up The Mike Sadler Fund at The Brain Tumour Charity to help us celebrate the wonderful husband, dad and grandad that he was, and in doing so raise much-needed funding to help find a cure for this devastating disease.

We are raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity, in support of their mission for a world where brain tumours are defeated and survival rates are doubled by 2025.

Brain tumour survival rates are just 11% and treatments haven’t changed in 40 years. By the time that Mike was admitted to hospital it was already too late, with no treatment available and the disease already at an advanced stage. We don’t want any other family to have their world turned upside down by cancer.

All donations, big and small, really do make a difference. We hugely appreciate anything you’re able to give.

During 2022 the Sadler family and friends will be organising more fundraising events to celebrate Mike’s life. We’ve already raised an incredible £6360 for The Brain Tumour Charity.

Love and best wishes
