Remembering the wonderful Tom Parker

We pay tribute to The Wanted’s legendary singer, this Brain Tumour Awareness Month

It is with huge sadness that we remember the wonderful Tom Parker on the anniversary of his death but this is also tinged with the incredible impact and legacy that his music, his personality and his warmth has left.

Despite his diagnosis, Tom remained resolute in raising his voice to drive awareness of the disease, standing united with us in calling for further funds and innovation in research and for his heartfelt support and inspiration for so many others.

The Wanted’s support for The Brain Tumour Charity

The band and Tom supported the work we do and back in 2022 released a song to help us raise vital funds for research. This originally was borne from a request of Tom’s family to play Gold Forever at his memorial.
The Wanted decided to create a more fitting version and Gold Forever (For Tom) was produced.

The track was played at Tom’s memorial and the band posted it the same night so the fans could hear it. The reaction from them was so warm and positive, that at the request of the fans, Gold Forever (For Tom) was made available to download and keep in memory of him.

“Gold Forever (For Tom) is an incredibly beautiful song and tribute to Tom – and we remain so touched and grateful to The Wanted for their continued support for everyone affected.

“Our thoughts continue to be with Tom’s wife Kelsey, their family and friends at this extremely difficult time, as well as with fans of The Wanted worldwide.
