Great North Run

The Great North Run is known as the world’s biggest and best half marathon with 60,000 determined and dedicated runners. It’s famous for its warm North East welcome, unbeatable atmosphere and the millions of pounds raised for good causes.

Kiltwalk 2022

Walkers in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow came together in 2022 and set a new fundraising record for the amount raised for The Brain Tumour Charity through the Kiltwalk.

The Lewis Moody Foundation Amazon Survival Challenge

Seven extreme explorers joined England Rugby Legends Lewis Moody and Tom Croft on the ultimate Amazon adventure – raising almost £40,000 to support children affected by a brain tumour.

From trekking through dense Brazilian rainforest and canoeing the Amazon River to learning survival skills from indigenous communities, each day was a steep learning curve for the participants.

The Lewis Moody Foundation Hadrian’s Wall Coast to Coast

This coast-to-coast challenge took participants from the estuary west of Carlisle to the North Sea coast east of Newcastle – walking an average of 28km every day across hilly terrain.

Our supporters smashed their fundraising targets to raise more than £25,000 to date.

Bath Half Marathon

38 runners took to the streets of Bath to run the Bath Half Marathon in support of The Brain Tumour Charity – raising over £20,000.

London to Brighton Cycle

87 of our supporters took on the 55-mile London to Brighton Cycle Ride to raise money and help us defeat brain tumours sooner – smashing their fundraising goals to raise an incredible £50,000.

Royal Parks Half Marathon

A huge thank you to the 38 runners who took on the Royal Parks Half Marathon and helped us raise over £35,000.

Underbelly’s Big Brain Tumour Benefit

During the peak of Edinburgh Fringe, Underbelly hosted some incredible comedians for a laugh-out-loud night of fundraising – featuring Jason Byrne (MC), John Bishop, Jessica Fostekew, Rhys Nicholson, Michael Akadiri, Phil Wang, Maisie Adam and Danny Bhoy. All box office income was donated to The Brain Tumour Charity and Underbelly matched that amount to double the amount that was raised on the night.
