Sustainability Champions
Our Sustainability Champions make sure we’re considering the environment in our projects and share tips and tricks to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
They’ve run bird feeder workshops, looked after our garden space and have implemented crisp packet recycling in the office.
“Since joining The Charity, I wanted to get involved in as much as I could, to really make the most out of our incredible culture. Although all of our groups sounded amazing, I decided to become a Sustainability Champion. Around Christmas we are organising two Swap Shop’s, where staff members can bring in unwanted items for others to find a use for. We are promoting our cycle to work scheme, to avoid unnecessary pollution and we always encourage our colleagues to go digital, mitigating paper waste! Ensuring a workplace is sustainable is paramount within our modern day society, which is why becoming a Sustainability Champion means so much to me”
