Thames Path Ultra Challenge 2024

Take on the Thames Path Challenge following England’s greatest river!

Most will walk, many will jog, some will run, and all have special reasons to push themselves. Our full Thames Path Challenge 100km route heads from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta at 50km, then on past wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley. With three quarter, half, quarter distance options also available – plus the separate 25km ‘Thames Bridges Trek’ & ‘The Moonlight 10 Walk’ through Central London as part of the weekend ‘festival’ – there’s a Thames Challenge for everyone! Your challenge will be a test of spirit and determination. You’ll be supported all the way by our team, and rewarded with an amazing sense of achievement. This event is part of the Ultra Challenge Series – 16 great events where you can walk, jog or run your chosen distance in the UK’s most iconic locations!

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

Important information from the event organiser

All sponsorship goes directly to the Charity via your online fundraising page. At least 50% of the sponsorship target should be with the Charity 3 week prior to the Challenge. At this time, the Charity agrees to pay a fee for your place to the Organiser (similar to the Self Funding cost – or half of it for Mixed Funding as you’ve already covered half). Failure to meet the deadline may result in cancellation of your place by the charity. The remaining 50% and any extra, should be with your Charity by 4 weeks after the Challenge.
