Raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of Susan

Susan's Story

My mum was 51 when she died. She died peacefully in her sleep. She wasn't aware she had a brain tumour but from researching the symptoms she suffered with a few of these. Her family were so sad that none of them had the chance to say goodbye and felt she had so much of her life left.

My mum liked attending music concerts and baking. She loved a slice of cake and occasionally enjoyed a Gin & Tonic. She fell in love with the city of Munich and loved to visit at Christmas time with her closest friends. She was a family person and would go above and beyond for her children Katie & Will. She also had a wicked sense of humour and would often share many belly laughs with her sister Jo.

Each year on the anniversary of my mum's death I will hold an afternoon tea and donate as much money as possible to The Brain Tumour Charity. I will also be taking part in the Tough Mudder race in September.

I was inspired by simply searching the internet and finding all the Supporter Group pages on your page. I want to continuously support your charity and raise awareness for brain tumours.
