We’re passionate about ensuring everyone affected by a brain tumour diagnosis has access to the best treatment and care. To achieve this we first need to understand how people’s experiences differ across the UK. That’s why we’re launching our Improving Brain Tumour Care surveys.
By sharing your experiences, you’ll help provide a clearer picture of what’s happening across the UK. Once we know what’s working well and what can be improved, we’ll share anonymised data with healthcare centres and work with them to raise standards and improve outcomes for everybody affected by a brain tumour.
We’ll also be able to better understand any inequalities in access to treatment and care. Once we’ve identified any issues, we’ll be able to work directly with healthcare providers to address the inequalities and support people in making better-informed decisions about their care. You can read more about why we're launching our Improving Brain Tumour Care surveys in our blog.
Each survey focuses on a different element of brain tumour treatment and care. We encourage everyone affected by a brain tumour to complete the survey that’s most relevant to their current experience, but you can also complete surveys about previous treatment and care if you want to.
If you’re caring for someone, you can complete surveys on behalf of a loved one and there’s also a dedicated survey on your experiences as a carer.
