Listen to our High Profile Supporter Hal Cruttenden’s podcast

Award-winning graphic designer’s ‘100 Stories’ podcast features Hal.

Hal speaks openly about losing his mum to glioblastoma in 2013, the impact on him and his family and his support for the ground-breaking research we are funding as part of Helena Traill’s ‘100 Stories’ podcast series.

Hal Said: “I always thought that cancer doesn’t affect my family, I guess like so many other people.”

Since being awarded a First Class Honours in July 2019, the highest the world-renowned arts and design college can give, Helena launched a Kickstarter funding campaign to develop her award-wining ‘100 Stories’, her cancer story art project, into a book.

Earlier this year, she smashed her target and the book was published featuring among others, those helped by The Brain Tumour Charity through their own experiences.

Now, she’s compiling podcasts with others affected. Previous podcast have included our own supporter Grace Latter, who has also interviewed Hal for previous charity comedy night fundraising events. Listen to the podcast.

Hal chats about contracting COVID-19, donating plasma, Laura Nuttall & trekking the Sahara with us next February.
