Running from 1st–12th December, the tour brings together around 50 book bloggers, reviewers, and online influencers, who will each share reviews, host discussions and spotlight Emma Christie’s brand-new thriller Watch Your Back, while also helping raise vital awareness of the signs and symptoms of brain tumours.
The digital event will feature a mix of Instagram Lives, book reviews, themed content and social posts across multiple platforms, with selected days dedicated to raising awareness of The Brain Tumour Charity’s work and mission.
About Emma Christie
Emma has been an active supporter of The Brain Tumour Charity throughout 2024. Earlier this year, during her Big Hike to Harrogate, she raised almost £2,000 to support The Charity’s world-leading research and support services.
Her motivation is deeply personal: Emma has both a niece and a nephew living with inoperable brain tumours. Seeing the impact on her own family has strengthened her determination to act, raise awareness and help accelerate progress for others.
Emma said: “Two young members of my family have inoperable brain tumours. I’ve often felt helpless in the face of such a life-changing diagnosis but by supporting the charity and helping to raise funds for research I feel like I’m transforming the grief of it into positive action.
“I’m hopeful that the research will offer hope, comfort, and even a cure for families like mine in the not-too-distant future.”

To mark the publication week of Watch Your Back, Emma will be raced across central Scotland to visit 15 Waterstones stores in a single day, travelling via public transport and running between locations.
She has pledged to donate 50p to The Brain Tumour Charity for every book she signs, and she is encouraging others to match her donation. She will continue this pledge throughout her publication events with Waterstones and various independent bookshops, including The Book Nook in Stewarton and The Portobello Bookshop in Edinburgh.

Emma sees these challenges as a meaningful way to turn feelings of helplessness into positive action: supporting a charity she describes as “moving further and faster” to find new treatments, provide world-leading support and drive urgent change for every family affected.
