Why run for us?
Watch Sarah's story on why she ran for The Brain Tumour Charity in The Virgin Money London Marathon 2016, and is part of #TheBrainyBunch.
The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people living with a brain tumour and their families.
If, like us, you want to see more funding for pioneering research into brain tumours, diagnosis times reduced even further and better support for individuals and their families, then apply for a ballot place to run for us at the Virgin Money London Marathon 2018.
#TheBrainyBunch are a fantastic team of people. They've let us know what being part of The Charity's team at 2017's Virgin Money London Marathon meant to them:
“An amazing charity with amazing girls and boys at the helm. Marathon day would have been less sweet without your support, care and affection shown towards us in the build-up and the after party"
"Thank you so much for giving me the chance to run for The Brain Tumour Charity. The training and build up has been an amazing cathartic experience for my family! It's been a privilege. And you lot in The Brainy Bunch - you're all inspirational"
This was my 17th London Marathon but the first one I've run for The Brain Tumour Charity. The support from the charity was excellent – much more friendly than I've experienced before, with personal emails and phone calls. I'll definitely be back next year!" Ian

We have a limited number of Golden Bond places for 2018. These are allocated via an application process using our application form. The assessment panel is made up of staff members from across The Charity and we do not take into account an applicant's pre-existing relationship with The Charity, outside of what they include on their Golden Bond form.
For 2018, the deadline for applications for our Golden Bond places is 1 September 2017.
