FAQs for the Berlin Marathon

To take part in this event, you must be at least 18 years old by the Event date.

The Berlin Marathon ballot opens on 25/09/2025 and runs until 06/11/2025.

If you are successful in the ballot, we would love to have you on our team! Please email events@thebraintumourcharity.org to tell us so that we can support you on your exciting journey.

We appreciate all applicants taking the time to apply for a place and we aim to let you know by the beginning of March if you have been successful or not. We will also let you know if you have been placed on a waitlist.

We will support you through every step of your Berlin Marathon journey, from fundraising advice to training tips. Below we have outlined some of the many ways we support our runners: 

  • Physical training support from team coach (we know it’s more than just putting one foot in front of the other!)
  • Closed Facebook group for only The Brainy Bunch Fundraisers – introduce yourself to the rest of the team, you are all one big family by when it comes to the big day!
