Starting at the basecamp in Scarborough, the North Yorks Ultra Challenge will take you through stunning coastal and moorland. The route heads around the town and then north on the Cleveland Way, with a stunning coastline up through Robin Hood Bay and onwards to Whitby, and a welcome halfway 50km stop. For full 100km challengers, it’s along the Esk Valley before heading south into classic moorland scenery, and back to Scarborough basecamp.

The Brain Tumour Charity is an official Series Partner of the 2026 Ultra Series which means you’ll receive a 50% discount on the ‘full sponsorship’ option when signing up.

How to enter the North Yorks Ultra Challenge

Choose a distance and fundraising option that suits you, sign up using the link above and we’ll support you on your fundraising journey.

You pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place! As we are an official Charity Partner – you get 50% off the standard reg fee below which is automatically added at checkout.

100km: registration fee, £50, fundraising target £575

75km: registration fee £45, fundraising target £475

50km & Marathon: registration fee £40, fundraising target £375

25km: registration fee £30, fundraising target £275

10 km: registration fee £20, fundraising target £100

At least 50% of the sponsorship target must be with The Charity 3 week prior to the Challenge. Failure to meet the deadline may result in cancellation of your place by The Charity. The remaining 50% and any extra, should be with your Charity by 4 weeks after the Challenge. We are here to support you get to your fundraising target !

Pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and we pay the balance of the event place cost.

75km: registration fee £90, fundraising target £270

50km & Marathon: registration fee £75, fundraising target £225

25km: registration fee £50, fundraising target £150

10 km: registration fee £22.50, fundraising target £70

You pay the full cost of the event place – fundraise as much as you can, with no set target or deadline, there’s a small admin fee to The Charity
