Mighty Maisie vs The Brain Tumour

Once upon a time, not too long ago, there was a good man. The man had a happy life. He liked simple things – to play golf, to fish, to eat nice meals, to spend time with his family, he was a talented artist. He worked hard; he was a good husband and a good father. He was so loved by his little family. He always did the right thing, even when it meant he didn’t come off best, it was important to him to be decent and honest.

One day, a brain tumour of pure evil decided to visit the man and to take him from his family. It did not give him the chance to fight, or to say goodbye. It did not care that he was good or that he was loved. It just took him for no reason leaving his little family broken and devastated, their lives forever changed by the loss of the good man.

But what the brain tumour did not know, was that the man had a little dog. A mighty dog, Mighty Maisie, who inspired a fund. The Small but Mighty Fund. This fund vowed to fight the brain tumours – to beat them, to ensure that one day when people are paid a visit by a brain tumour, they can fight back, defeat them, vanquish them forever.

This time, the brain tumour had rattled the wrong cage. It had not bargained that team Small but Mighty would avenge the good man, doing everything in their power to raise all the money needed to find out how to defeat the tumours.
