The collection has launched today and is now available to purchase with 50% of the profits of each sale being donated to The Brain Tumour Charity. The money raised from every item sold will help fund our pivotal work to support people affected by a brain tumour and also find a cure for the number one cancer killer of children and adults under 40.

The Great Minds theme was chosen and is supported by The Charity’s incredible Young Ambassadors. Our Young Ambassadors are an inspiring collective of empowered young people who have been affected in some way by a brain tumour. Many of them have either been diagnosed themselves or witnessed the brutal impact this disease has had on a family member or friend.

The clothing range will help them to showcase their own strength, demonstrate their commitment to the cause and to commemorate the experiences which have brought them to where they are today.

The Charity also hopes it will help to dispel the associated negative emotions people with a brain tumour often hold about their mental capabilities including memory difficulties, personality changes and physical pain. Great Minds also celebrates the formidable minds within the brain tumour community who are striving for change including those affected by the disease, charity supporters, clinicians and scientists working hard to find a cure.

The unique and original t-shirt designs have been developed by a team of professional designers who kindly donated their time to the project.

The collection aims to help people to show their support for The Brain Tumour Charity and the organisation’s commitment to urgently driving forward progress to find a cure. This is all done in a fashionable and environmentally sustainable way by purchasing a t-shirt for themselves or for a loved one.

In a world where brain tumours have such a negative impact on people’s lives, the new t-shirt range gives us the opportunity to celebrate that we’re actually doing amazingly well for all that we’re overcoming. Despite a few bumps along the road, our minds are just great.

Molly Howarth, Young Ambassador from Lancashire

Sarah Lindsell, chief executive of The Brain Tumour Charity, said: “We’re very excited to be launching The Charity’s first ever clothing collection. The theme is absolutely perfect for encapsulating all that we’re about – championing, supporting and celebrating people who have been affected by a brain tumour.

“A brain tumour is cruel and indiscriminate so it can affect people of all ages. However, we’re so proud that our Young Ambassadors are supporting the Great Minds collection so that they can wear their t-shirts with pride and quite rightly stand out in the crowd as the amazing and influential people they are.”

Teemill is a leading ethical and sustainable clothing brand. The range is part of the world’s first circular economy for fashion as they are made on demand and designed to be sent back to Teemill when they have worn out. The range is also made from certified organic cotton, using renewable energy and are printed on demand in the UK.
