On 10 August 2017, our wonderful partners at Floor & Wall Ltd took to the fairway as they hosted their first ever charity golf day.
Once the game was over and all score cards handed in, everyone enjoyed a delicious BBQ as well as a charity raffle and auction with wonderful prizes.
Family-run, flooring specialists Floor & Wall Ltd have been inspired to support The Charity by employee Jason Goulder, who is living with a brain tumour.
Managing Director, Ian Crosbie, who is also Jason’s father-in-law, said, “We decided to host the charity golf day to create something positive. An act of defiance against the brain tumour that has invaded my son-in-law Jason’s life.
“The day was a great success, enjoyed by all and certainly highlighted the wonderful work of The Brain Tumour Charity in fighting this condition.“
The outstanding efforts of the team at Floor & Wall means that their golf day raised over £7,000 to help The Charity to double survival and halve the harm of brain tumours. What’s more, Floor & Wall are looking to repeat their success in 2018, and make the Golf Day an annual event.
