The routes

There are three different routes to pick from:

  • 3 miles - through the scenic woodland of Alice Holt Forest
  • 9 miles - starting from Alice Holt Forest and cycling along the winding country roads of Farnham
  • 25 miles - a more challenging route starting from Alice Holt Forest and along the roads of the idyllic villages of Frensham and Elstead

This is not a timed or competitive challenge, so you can feel free to go at your own pace and pick a route that suits you best. If you fancy a relaxing, scenic, family day out then why not go for the 3 mile route? Or if you feel like a challenge with your friends, why not push yourself with the 25 mile challenge?

If you're taking part using one of the adaptive bikes then we suggest choosing the three mile route as it is best suited. If you or anyone taking part with you is worried about three miles being too far, don't worry - the cycle team will be able to suggest other shorter options on the day.

Cycle hire

There are a number of adaptive bikes for hire, which can be arranged through The Charity at no cost to you. Please see the full list of adaptive cycles below and contact our team before you register to ensure availability.

Conventional bikes can be hired, for a charge, directly through Alice Holt. Helmets must be worn, they can be hired at a cost of £2 per person.
