Summit Snowdon and go further to find a cure for brain tumours!
Join us on Saturday 19 June 2021 for a summit climb to the highest peak in Wales - Snowdon. Experience the beautiful sunset and the popular Llanberis path and Snowdon summit with no crowds, or queues!
Setting off early evening, we'll arrive as a group at the summit to watch the sun set at 1,085m, before returning back to base for a celebratory midnight feast.
Will you join us to help beat brain tumours sooner?
Important information about this event
We're working with Mountain Walks to deliver this challenge to our community.
The minimum age to take part in this challenge is 14. If there is someone under this age who wants to take part, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss this with us.
Mountain Walks say that climbing Snowdon requires a good level of walking/mountain fitness and lots of determination. If this is your first mountain climb, they suggest training a few months before the walk. Snowdon is a tough walk and not to be underestimated but don’t worry – once you've signed up, we’ll provide you with a training plan from Mountain Walks to help you prepare you for your challenge!
Please note, you will be asked to submit a medical form to Mountain Walks before taking part.
