Dedicating a gift in your Will to a loved one is a special tribute to their life while helping us be there for generations to come. We promise to celebrate the lives of those who inspire us every day.
Leaving a gift to a Supporter Group
You can choose to leave a gift in your Will to one of our amazing Supporter Groups. This is just one way of helping their work live on while celebrating the life of a loved one. Any gift left to a Supporter Group will be invested into the area of our work that they support and will ensure that they can continue to make a difference, both now and in the future.
If you would like to leave a gift to a Supporter Group we suggest you add this wording:
"The gift(s) I leave to The Brain Tumour Charity should be given to a Supporter Group (insert name of Supporter Group)."
If you would like to dedicate your gift or leave a gift in your Will as a tribute, we suggest you add the following wording in addition to the wording found in our
free gifts in Wills information pack..
"The gift(s) I leave to The Brain Tumour Charity are done so as a tribute to my (son, daughter, mother, father, friend etc.), (insert full name).
Thanks to our amazing supporters and gifts in Wills, The Brain Tumour Charity has been able to invest £18.3 million into research so far with an additional £4.3 committed this year alone. We know that investment into research offers the only real hope of defeating brain tumours and we will continue to commit major funding to this until we find a cure.
“When someone you care about dies, I think one of the hardest things to get your head around is the fact they no longer have any kind of impression in the world. In my view, leaving a legacy in that person's name is a small act of kindness that shows we care. It enables you to feel that that life is somehow continuing to have an impact and a purpose."
