Join The Brain Tumour Charity and Southampton Hospital for a Paediatric Information Day.
Southampton Children's Hospital and The Brain Tumour Charity have been working together to find ways in which we can increase the support we offer. We are passionate about ensuring that you as a family feel better informed, less isolated and more in control of the issues that you face everyday as a parent of a child who is living with a brain tumour diagnosis, whether it be of a low or high grade.
Throughout the day there will be a range of talks by members of the Southampton Children's Hospital team and other professionals. Talks will focus on treatment, clinical trials, complimentary medicine, psychological and family support and life after treatment. More importantly there will be opportunities for you to meet local support charities and connect with other families.
This event is free to attend, with ample free parking and lunch will be provided. A staffed playroom for children and siblings of all ages will be available.
The day is taking place at The Holiday Inn Southampton-Eastleigh, Leigh Road, Eastleigh, SO50 9PG on 1 st October 2017 between 9.30am and 4pm.
