That’s why we’ve teamed up with Wickes, one of the UK’s leading DIY and home improvement retailers, in this flagship corporate partnership.
Kicking off in April 2023, together we’ve pledged to raise £2 million over two years towards our vision of a world where people diagnosed with a brain tumour live longer and better.
Standing together against brain tumours
The impact of a partnership with Wickes goes beyond exciting; it is an absolute game-changer for The Brain Tumour Charity as the fundraising target represents a 167% increase to our usual corporate fundraising income.
This will allow us to make tremendous investments in research, public campaigns and vital support services for people affected by brain tumours.
With Wickes’ 8,500-strong staff team across their stores, the Support Centre and the Distribution Centre, together we’ll go further, faster to raise awareness of brain tumours across the country.
How are we raising £2 million?
The 50p Ask
13 – 17 July 2023
Wickes’ next 50p Ask campaign is taking place from 13 – 17 July 23.
Over these five days, customers at all 230 stores nationwide will be asked to donate 50p to us with their purchase in stores. Online customers can also donate to us when purchasing from wickes.co.uk.
In the past, Wickes’ generous customers have raised thousands for charity in just one weekend!
